Two raw hides laid out on cobblestone in dramatic light
Seasonal Edit — I

Lookbook

Before the finish, before the cut — a scroll through the raw material we source, and the hands that turn it.

Raw hides drying on open racks at a tannery
01 — Raw Stock

Hides, before anything happens to them

Cured and air-dried on open racks. Every hide is graded here — thickness, density, scarring — long before it sees a dye pit.

02 — The Pits

Colour, mixed by eye

No recipe cards. A dye master reads a vat the way a sommelier reads a glass — and adjusts by hand until it is right.

Workers handling hides on a tannery floor
03 — In Motion

The tannery floor, at work

Hides turned, stretched, and hung by hand — the part of the process no photograph quite captures.

04 — Curing

A hide, drying on the rack

Stretched over woven cane and left to the air. Nothing accelerates this stage — the hide sets at its own pace.

Stacked leather pieces in oxblood, green, grey and tan
05 — The Stack

Finished, folded, waiting

Oxblood, forest, stone, and tan — cut to order and stacked by weight before they leave the floor.

06 — The Grain

Every hide carries its own record

Scars, growth lines, insect marks. We do not sand them out — they are how you know the grain is real.
